Concrete lifting that brings sunken slabs back to level
When the ground under a slab washes out or settles, the slab drops and leaves a trip edge. We raise it back up without replacing it.
What we lift
Sunken sidewalk slabs, entrance walks, patios, stoops, pool decks and slabs that have settled next to a building.
Why lifting works
- Small holes. We work through a few coin-sized holes instead of breaking out the slab.
- Fills the void. The material that lifts the slab also fills the gap that caused it to sink.
- Fast. Most lifted slabs can be walked on the same day.
Not sure if it's lifted or sunk? Send a photo. We'll tell you which repair fits and what it costs.
How concrete lifting works
Sunken slabs usually have sound concrete and a void underneath. Fill the void and the slab comes back up.
- DrillWe drill a few small holes, about the size of a coin, through the sunken slab.
- InjectLifting material is pumped underneath, filling voids and raising the slab.
- Level and sealThe slab comes up level with its neighbor, and we patch the holes.
Fix the trip hazard before it becomes a claim.
Most sidewalks can be made safe in a single visit, without tearing anything out.
