Joint and crack sealing that keeps slabs level

Most sunken and heaved slabs start the same way: water runs down an open joint, washes out the base or freezes underneath. Sealing the joints stops it.

What we seal

  • Joints between sidewalk and walkway slabs
  • The gap where a walk or patio meets the building
  • Cracks across slabs before they spread
  • Joints at curbs, aprons and pool decks

How we do it

  • Clean out the joint. Old filler, dirt and weeds are removed.
  • Backer rod goes in deeper joints so the sealant bonds only to the sides and can stretch.
  • Flexible sealant rated for freeze-thaw movement is tooled smooth, flush with the walk.

Best done right after a repair. Seal the joints when we shave or lift a slab, and the fix lasts longer.

Stop the next trip hazard before it starts.

Sealed joints keep water out from under your slabs.
